Terms of Service
Welcome to AI Detector Pro, operated by Guangzhou Yuanjie Information Technology Co., Ltd. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our mobile application and website (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using AI Detector Pro, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
2. Age Requirements
You must be at least 13 years old to use this Service. If you are between 13 and 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction), you may only use the Service with the consent of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to be bound by these Terms. By using the Service, you represent that you meet these age requirements.
3. Description of Service
AI Detector Pro is a mobile application that provides:
- AI-generated text detection and analysis
- AI-generated image detection and analysis
- Text humanization (rewriting) features
- Detection history storage and management
4. User Accounts
To access certain features, you may need to create an account using Apple Sign-In or Google Sign-In. You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account
- All activities that occur under your account
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use
5. Subscriptions and Payments
5.1 Free Tier
Free users receive 2 detections per day. This quota resets every 24 hours.
5.2 Paid Subscriptions
We offer Weekly, Monthly, and Yearly subscription plans. Subscriptions are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. By purchasing a subscription:
- Payment will be charged to your App Store or Google Play account
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
- Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
- You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your account settings
5.3 Refunds
Refunds are handled by Apple and Google according to their respective policies. We do not process refunds directly.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Infringe on intellectual property rights of others
- Submit content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or defamatory
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
- Use automated systems to access the Service without permission
- Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization
7. Intellectual Property
The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by AI Detector Pro and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You retain ownership of any content you submit to the Service. By submitting content, you grant us a limited license to process it for the purpose of providing the Service.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. We do not guarantee that:
- The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
- Detection results will be 100% accurate
- The Service will meet your specific requirements
AI detection technology has inherent limitations. Results should be used as one factor among many in your decision-making process.
8.1 Academic Use Disclaimer
AI Detector Pro is intended as a supplementary tool and should NOT be used as the sole basis for academic integrity decisions. Detection results may produce false positives (human content flagged as AI) or false negatives (AI content not detected). Educational institutions and educators should:
- Use detection results as one of multiple factors in assessment
- Allow students the opportunity to explain or discuss flagged content
- Not make punitive decisions based solely on AI detection scores
We are not responsible for any academic, professional, or personal consequences resulting from decisions made based on our detection results.
9. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, AI DETECTOR PRO SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
- Loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses
- Damages resulting from your use or inability to use the Service
- Damages resulting from unauthorized access to your data
- Any other damages arising from the use of the Service
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AI Detector Pro and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.
11. Modifications to Service
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time without notice. We may also modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
12. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately.
13. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the People's Republic of China. For users outside of China, these Terms shall be governed by the laws of your country of residence to the extent required by local law.
14. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through the following process:
- Informal Resolution: We encourage you to contact us first at support@aidetectorpro.app to resolve any disputes informally
- Arbitration: If informal resolution fails, disputes shall be submitted to the China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (CIETAC) for arbitration in Guangzhou, China
- Individual Basis: You agree to resolve disputes on an individual basis
15. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
16. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and AI Detector Pro regarding the Service.
